PRIVACY POLICY

1. Our Commitment to Privacy. This notice describes our Privacy Policy. Our privacy policy explains how Veryfier collects, uses, and protects the personal information obtained through our Veryfier Mobile Application and Website (“App”). We are concerned about protecting your privacy interests during your experience with respect to our App and any other media that we now or in the future provide. We take reasonable steps to preserve adequate physical, procedural and technical security so as to prevent any loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure of your personal information, including password, user name, transaction information and data stored through our auspices and control. However, such losses do from time to time occur in any industry and, to the extent allowed by state and federal law, you hereby voluntarily and knowingly waive, release and relinquish any claims, suits, class action claims, or demands that you may be able to make against Veryfier and any of its subsidiaries at any time, and you will save, hold harmless, and indemnify Veryfier and its subsidiaries from any and all claims suits, class action claims, or demands in respect of privacy losses or intrusions. By accessing or using the App you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

 

2. What Information is Collected.
(a) Information You Provide to Us: We collect any information you enter on our App, or that you give us in any other way. You can choose not to provide certain information, but you may not be able to take advantage of our services and features.

  • Personally Identifiable Information:  Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”) is data about you that is personally identifiable. Examples of personally identifiable information include name, address, email address, financial account information, credit card number or any other information that is not otherwise publicly available. We use PII that has been provided to us for business purposes such as to contact you, for billing, or to otherwise render our services. We retain that information until removal is requested. Anyone who has provided personally identifiable data to Veryfier may elect to have their data deleted from our files, or to be used only for the service requested, by following the instructions listed under Personally Identifiable Opt-Out later in this policy. We do not collect PII as a function of our services. 


(b) Automatic Information: When you use the App, you disclose certain information, such as your IP address, your location and the time of your visit, called Non Personally Identifiable Information (“NPII”). We may collect your physical location by using satellite or internet signals. This App, like many other websites, records this basic information about visits to our App.
 
3. Cookies Policy. "Cookies": Our App uses cookies, tracking pixels and related technologies to provide our services for you. Cookies are small data files that are served by our platform and stored on your device. They enable us to identify your device when you move between different websites and applications, so that we can serve targeted advertising to you. Most browsers are set up to accept cookies, but you can change your settings to have your browser notify you when you receive a new cookie or to refuse to accept cookies.

(a) Veryfier uses basic tracking cookies on this website, and may collect and use information from you with cookies and through the other information-gathering methods described herein, for the following purposes and in the following manner:

        (i)        Tracking user activity;

        (ii)        Tracking mouse movements and clicks;

        (iii)        Storing client information in the cookies.

        (iv)        Information about your use of this App, including dates and times of visits; products purchased; any other data that exists with respect to your use of the website;

(v)        Information that you provide when you register to use the App; when                you make a purchase; information about purchase transactions carried out over the App.
 
4. How and When the Information is Used. The information we collect is used for administering our business activities. No client information is sold, gathered or used for any other purpose not specified in this Privacy Policy. We may additionally use the information to notify you about changes to our App, new services, or special offers.

Veryfier may use your PII and NPII for the following purposes:

(a)        Administer the App;  

        (b)        Personalize the App for you;  

        (c)        Enable your access to and use of the App;

        (d)        Send to you statements and invoices; and

        (e)        Collect payments from you


 
5. How We Protect Your Information. The privacy and protection of your information is important to us. We do not make any PII available to third parties without your permission. To protect your PII, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.


If you provide us with your financial or any other personal information, the information is encrypted using industry standard protections. Thus you hereby release Veryfier from any and all liability and waive any right to make a claim against Veryfier for losses or damages sustained as a result of a third party invasion or hack that occurs despite the foregoing protectins.

6. Who Has Access to the Information. Information about our clients and users are important to us. We will not disclose any PII to any third party, aside from what is specifically disclosed in this Privacy Policy.

 

We may access or disclose information about you, including the content of your communications, in order to: (a) comply with the law or respond to lawful requests or legal process; (b) protect our rights or property or our customers, including the enforcement of our agreements or policies governing your use of the services; or (c) act on a good faith belief that such access or disclosure is necessary to protect the personal safety of our employees, customers or the public. We may also disclose PII as part of a corporate transaction such as a merger or sale of assets.  

 

Google Analytics is used to analyze the use of this App and has access to NPII. Google Analytics generates data regarding the use of this website and/or App. by storing cookies on users’ computers.  Google Analytics summarizes the data for us so that we may make marketing decisions to improve our sales volume. Google also stores and uses this information.  By agreeing to this Privacy Policy, you are also agreeing to Google’s Privacy Policy. If you choose to opt-out of Google’s cookies and other tracking, you must do so by following the instructions laid out in their Privacy Policy.

 

NPII may also be shared with Apsalar and Flurry App Intelligence in order to optimize the App and our marketing functions. Please visit https://apsalar.com/privacy-policy/ and https://dev.flurry.com/secure/optOut.do respectively to determine how the above mentioned services shall use and protect your information.
 
7. Children. The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. Veryfier does not knowingly collect or use any personal information from such children. If you are under the age of 13, do not submit any information to our App. If we learn that we collected personal information from children under the age of 13, we will take steps to delete that information as soon as possible.
 
8. How You Can Access Your Information. You can request access to all your personally identifiable information by sending an e-mail to (support@Veryfier.com).
 
9. Consent. By using our App, you consent to the collection and use of your PII and NPII as described in this Privacy Policy.

 

10.  Opting-Out.

(a) Personally Identifiable Information: If a client elects to provide Veryfier with PII, he or she has the right to tell us to have such information deleted in its entirety at any time. Please note that if you choose to delete your information completely you will no longer be able to utilize the Service we provide to you. You may email us at (INSERT EMAIL) to remove your PII from our database, provided we have completed all your pending transactions. Please note that PII is never completely removed from our history or disaster recovery archives.

 
11. Changes to Privacy Policy. If our Privacy Policy or procedures change, we will immediately post those changes on our App. You can access our most recent Privacy Policy (link to Privacy Policy). Any such changes will be effective immediately upon being posted, unless otherwise stated in the change.

 

12. International Data Transferring.  Information that Veryfier collects may be stored and processed in and transferred between any country in which Veryfier operates, such as but not limited to transfers between the United States and Canada, to enable the use of the information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. You agree to such potential cross-border transfers of PII.

 
13. Effective Date. This Privacy Policy is effective as of November 11, 2016.
